Calls: Chimney Fire

North Lakes Units where called to a chimney fire on the Cyr Road in Cross Lake. Upon arrival crews found no more fire in the chimney, cleaned out the stove and pipe and provided a thorough check for any extension. Crews cleared the scene soon after.

North Lakes received a call from a home owner who had smoke coming from a fan. North Lakes responded with a thermal imaging camera and found no fire or smoke. The owner was told to keep the fan off and call an electrician to check it out.

A fire was spotted off Route 161 in Cross Lake. North Lakes Chief responded and investigated and found no issues.

Fort Kent Fire & Rescue requested a Engine, Tanker and Crew from North Lakes for a structure fire. North Lakes was able to send E2, T9, P1, Chief's Truck and 12 personnel. North Lakes crews assisted with a tanker shuttle operation, used E2 to supply hand lines and had crews operating lines.

Caribou Fire requested mutual aid for a vehicle fire that spread into the woods. North Lakes units responded with P1, T14 & T8.
