Calls: Assist Police
Came across an accident involving one GMC Pickup that had gone off the road and into some trees. Aroostook County Sheriff's Office was already on scene. Provided emergency vehicle lighting to help slow traffic and checked with the vicitim and the Deputy to ensure that there were no injuries. Tow truck was called and the scene was left to the Sheriff's Dept.

Calls: Structure Fire
Recieved a call for a structure fire in Cross Lake. Upon arrival of E- 324, units found the electrical entrance meter box had caught fire and melted a few small pieces of vynil siding. Maine Public was notified to come to the scene and disconnect service to that meter and remove the hazard.
The home had two smoke detectors, only one was operational, fire units plan on returning later in the day to ensure that both operate, and to provide them with a free detector for their living room. Fire did not seem to extend into the structure itself. Building was checked top to bottom with thermal camera as an added unit of safety. Units cleared the scene at 0633hrs.

Calls: Assist Fort Kent
Recieved a call to assist Fort Kent Fire with an accident on Route 161, exact location
wasn't known if it was in New Canada or Cross Lake. Crews arrived to find a single car down over the embankement with 1 occupant trapped and injured. Upon arrival, Fort Kent Fire and ASI Ambulance were already on scene and extricating the patient. Our crews provided manpower and assisted with traffic.

Calls: Car-Pole Accident
Personnel had been completing a training and came across a single vehicle accident, car vs. telephone pole. Personnel assisted with traffic control, and contacted EMS, Maine Public Svc, and State Police. Extrication was not needed. Personnel remained on scene until released by the State Police.

Calls: Tree Down 2
While on standby at a tree down on power lines, we were notified of other trees down on lines along Cyr Road. Personnel responded to find trees down on two sections of Cyr Road putting considerable pressure on the lines. Crews stood by until Maine Public Service arrived and cut down the trees. Fire crews then cleared the road debris with chain saws.

Recieved a call for a tree down on power lines arcing. Crews stood by to establish a safe area until Maine Public Service could arrive on scene. This blow down was caused by high winds that were occurring that evening.

Calls: Rekindle Check
Personnel returned to the scene of a structural fire that occurred the night before to unsure a safe area. Personnel put 750 gallons of water on the smoldering debris, and ensurred that power was
shut off to the area.
Units returned to the station at 1100hrs.

Calls: Structure Fire
North Lakes Fire recieved a call for a grease fire. Units were dispatched, and upon arrival found the structure completely involved and partially collapsed. Tanker 14, Tanker 1 & Engine 324 all responded to this fire with 12 men. Units remained on scene until 0240 to ensure the fire was contained. Structure and contents were a total loss.

Two personnel investigated a report of smoke showing by the boat landing on the Disy Road in Cross Lake. They arrived to find a small pile of brush burning at a camp, it was a permitted burn and the owners were there watching the fire.
